- Laura was inspired by a watercolor picture of a sheep by Rachel Livingston, which she reproduced in felting and applied fleece–a spectacular interpretation.
- Barbara, an integral part of our Guild.
- Teri led our May program about making macrame snowflakes
- Linda, taking her inspiration from the works of Gustav Klimt, created a warp-dominant stole that literally sparkled with gold.
- Anne, inspired by Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers and Irises,” created this beautiful picture from all sorts of paper, including paper napkins for the irises.
- Sharon, using Wolf Kahn’s “Trees” as her inspiration, interpreted both the colors and horizontality of his pastel to create a color wrap. But, best of all her outfit matched her project exactly.
- Jacque drew her inspiration from Monet’s “Morning Mist” on the Seine and wove the fabric for a knitting bag.
- Kathy, using Georgia O’Keefe’s “Inside a Red Canna,” created two scarves with different weft densities in chenille.
- Us–after a wonderful day of inspirational creativity.
We had so much fun, Thank you Linda. Anne
